Oak Grove Baptist Church is blessed to have Jameson Deering as our newest staff member as Youth Director.

​

Jameson was born and raised in Bremen, Georgia. Growing up Jameson was raised in the church, but never came to know the Lord as His Lord and Savior until the age of 18 in his senior year of high school. After graduation,  he decided to further his education at Truett McConnell University in Christian Studies while playing on the golf team. 

​

Jameson loves being able to build relationships and relate with students, so that he can share the Gospel with them. Jameson sees nothing more exciting than seeing a young person turn their life over to Christ. 

 

Jameson is engaged to his soon to be wife Kylie Williford. Jameson and Kylie met at Truett McConnell and started dating. Jameson and Kylie will be getting married May 2023. 

 

Jameson’s hobbies are playing golf and spending time on the lake with his friends.
